This is the best kit I;ve ever made. I;ve just bought my fifth one. Strong and hoppy, can be a bit citrus but in a good way. This is the first kit I;ve made that doesn;t taste like home brew but actually tastes like a decent commercial pint. Heartily recommended.Kingsley Tart (Oct 23 2018, 21:07 PM)
Have brewed 3 of these now, and what a superb beer it is. We put a barrel on every year for our family holiday in Scotland and it is a family favourite. Smooth, hoppy and pretty strong too - I'd recommend moderation to start with. It takes a bit of time to ferment, and to clear in the barrel, but is SO worth the wait. We would happily pay £3.50 a pint for this in a pub. Buy one!David (Apr 18 2018, 20:50 PM)
I love this kit, it's really easy to make and tastes amazing, takes a little longer than some so I keep 2 batches on the go. It's primary fermentation is a little crazy so make sure you don't put on anything you want to keep clean.Doug (Jan 30 2017, 16:09 PM)
A really good kit- my first try at home brew. Very easy to understand and follow the instructions. Good quality packaging and labelled contents. Everything seemed to be good quality from the result... And what a result! Very potent and delicious. Throw caution to the wind and try this kit. At the very least it's fun for a few weeks watching your new ale bubble away whilst you wait to sample it. 10/10.bernie (Jan 30 2017, 16:08 PM)
Just having a pint now. This is a truly exceptional American IPA. I have to keep reminding myself its home brew. A friend who knows his craft ales said he would happily pay for it in a pub. I'll be ordering another one soon....DERMOT (Jan 30 2017, 16:07 PM)
