A fantastic USA hop with specific aroma descriptors that include grapefruit, melon, lime, gooseberry, passion fruit and lychee.

Dual purpose hop. The Citra hop is a high alpha acid hop with a strong, yet smooth floral and citrus aroma and flavor. This is a fairly new hop variety which has recently caught on and become as popular as it in intense in both aroma and flavor. The citra hops has recently been used in single-hop beers with more frequency. This is due to it’s intense flavor profile that it balances with a smooth taste. The citra hop fits into the idea of American pale ales and IPAs, as it gives a strong hop kick while allowing a solid flavor profile to come out.

Developed by the Hop Breeding Company of Yakima, Washington in 2007. Bred from four different hops including mittelfruh, East Kent Golding and US Tettnang.

Amazing service

I bought two wine kits and one did not have all the necessary parts, only the grape concentrate. I needed to get this started before we went on holiday, Sam chased it up immediately with the suppliers and I received the missing bits in time to start it before we went away.
