Our own unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. A well balanced, fruit forward wine with flavours of red berries, black fruit and a touch of spice. This wine has firm tannins and will match well with braised lamb and prime rib with portobello mushrooms.

Loved this wine. complex, almost smokey(oak?), lots of flavour. However Filtering seemed to leave the wine with less character. Next time I think i'll ditch the filter, but either way my Favourite red kit so far. (Nov 14 2017, 23:25 PM)

worth the extra money

I thought I would try a kit that was a little bit more expensive. really great wine, one drawback though after only five weeks from starting there is only about five bottles left (We must try and be more restrained). very good kit and a very good company to deal with. My next batch is nearly ready(shiraz). Think I will order a white next.CHEERS EVERYONE. John (Apr 03 2014, 16:14 PM)

Great Wine!

This wine kit is worth every penny. I'm on my 10th kit of various kenridge classic varieties. This is by far my favourite red. The packaging and instructions are excellent. It ferments through in about 12 days effortlessly. ( I don't rack it off for the second fermentation, but let it ferment right through) It clears easily and tastes great as soon as its bottled. Slightly better after a couple of weeks. I left a few bottles for 4 months but couldn't tell much difference to be honest. So it's great really young. Go for it. At £1.80 a bottle it's fantastic. I'll never buy a cheap kit again, that's for sure. Ps. This company are also excellent. Very quick delivery and very helpful if you need some advice. (May 27 2013, 20:14 PM)

Trilogy red

I have just put on my second batch of this very nice red. Its fully loaded and has obvious fruits at the front with a smooth after taste. I have found that it is best left after bottling, although there is no reason to wait too long. For me I open a bottle and decant it to drink the day after and by then it has found its temperature and it tastes superb, I urge you to try it this way you will love it.
