Enjoy wine? You’ll love making your own! The SG Wines Winemaking Starter Kit includes everything you need to produce your first batch of delicious and easy-drinking Merlot-style wine in just 7 days. With nothing to add but water, this kit contains all the winemaking equipment and ingredients you need to make 4.5 litres (6 bottles) of your very own wine. It even includes a wine serving pouch, meaning no corks, bottles, or bottling equipment required!
SG Wines Gold 6 Bottle Merlot Wine Making Kit makes a soft and approachable red wine with cherry and red berry notes. and a smooth, oaky finish at approx. 12.5% ABV.
With full instructions included, we guide you through the process from start to end, so you can turn wine-lover to wine-maker with confidence.

Whats Included

Winemaking Ingredients Kit:

  •  Grape Juice Concentrate – for the wine body and flavour.
  • 1 kg Brewing Sugar – to boost alcohol by volume (ABV).
  • Wine Yeast Sachet – turns sugar into alcohol during fermentation.
  • Yeast Nutrient Sachet – to keep the yeast healthy.
  • Acid Regulator Sachet – to balance the acidity levels.
  • Stabiliser Sachet – to protect the wine from spoilage and oxidation.
  • Flavouring Add-Back – to enhance the wine flavour profile.
  • Wine Finings A & B – to make the wine crystal clear.

Winemaking Equipment:

  • 5 L Fermenter & Lid – for primary fermentation.
  • 5 L Secondary Fermenter – for clearing your wine.
  • Airlock – to allow CO2 to escape during fermentation.
  • Hydrometer – to measure alcohol strength.
  • Thermometer – to monitor the fermentation temperature.
  • Syphon – to transfer your wine between vessels.
  • Cleaner & Steriliser – to ensure no nasty bugs spoil your wine.
  • 5 L Stand-up Wine Serving Pouch – for storing and dispensing your wine.
