Celebrating VE Day and enjoying a nice glass of P.G. from supermarket. Then new bottle arrives and is better than ;bought; bottle. New glass is beautiful and it's a beaverdale kit, produced by a neighbour. Very pleased with this. Will be ordering for myself.keith (May 09 2020, 10:23 AM)
Hard to review this wine without waxing lyrical.
I've made this three times already and have anothor on order. Probably will order it again with a Gewurtztraminer - hope I spelt it correctly.
Had numerous people comment on how nice a wine it is, even more when told it is a "kit wine". Loads want to know how to make it.Seriouly, I would say this is the best kit I've ever made and I've done loads of Beaverdales. They are all excellent, to very good in my opinion.
Pinot Grigio and Gewurtztraminer are posibly the only whites ones you need. Muscadet is very nice, but I find it a touch bland. However, I'm told it should be like that.
Anyway, Pinot Grigio is the mutts nuts. Or Korean meatballs, if you want to think of it that way"Arthur Laurenson (Aug 09 2011, 02:51 AM)
