Favorite white

This wine is really good. After keeping several months in a cool place it does taste better than bought wine. My wife and I think it is the best kit we've made. Will be off to get another. Simple as well to make and works.Ian (8 Nov 2022, 13:28)

Sauvignon Blanc

Easy To Make

This is the first batch of wine I have made for several years and I was impressed with this very easy to use kit from Cellar 7. The instructions were clear and as it states onthe box was ready in 7 days. We are now waiting a couple of weeks to see if what everyone else has been syaing about leaving it to age for a week will improve it, but this has produced a very drinkable little tipple which at just over a week old is very nice especially when chilled. I will definitely be using this again and will experiment with a few of the other wines that Cellar 7 produce. Easy Drinking

Worth moving up a notch?

I used to buy from the On The House (£43) range and was always very happy with them and made dozens of 30 bottle kits up. Until, that is, there was an offer on WineXpert kits at the same price rather than the normal £53. So I had nothing to lose in trying the more expensive kit. I found it was definitely worth the extra tenner (more grape juice giving more depth of flavour). So I now stick with WineXpert even at the higher price. I live a long distance away but was staying with relatives for the weekend. Decided to visit the shop and so glad I did. They have everything that a home brewer could possibly need.
