Excellent

The Woodforde's Wherry kit has become a staple brew for me. It's easy to put together as there is no sugar needed (two cans of liquid malt are supplied), it tastes fantastic as is if you brew to instructions and it lends itself well to tweaking slightly (a quick search on the forum will give many variations on this theme).Anonymous (28 Oct 2016, 13:57)

Simply brilliant!

Great little brew, this one. Fantastic taste, full of flavour. Most places sell it for nearer £20, so for £15 it's a real bargain, although you'll have to order a bit more to take advantage of the 'free delivery' option. It's clear, easy-to-follow instructions make it perfect for novices or more advanced brewers. I've made Wherry several times, it's always been brilliant and, better still, it's as good as any beer you'll buy from a pub, for a fraction of the price!Anonymous (21 Aug 2009, 19:44)

Worth moving up a notch?

I used to buy from the On The House (£43) range and was always very happy with them and made dozens of 30 bottle kits up. Until, that is, there was an offer on WineXpert kits at the same price rather than the normal £53. So I had nothing to lose in trying the more expensive kit. I found it was definitely worth the extra tenner (more grape juice giving more depth of flavour). So I now stick with WineXpert even at the higher price. Amazing service

I bought two wine kits and one did not have all the necessary parts, only the grape concentrate. I needed to get this started before we went on holiday, Sam chased it up immediately with the suppliers and I received the missing bits in time to start it before we went away. Good kits at a good price. Very fast delivery by APC and tracking which was spot on (I've written a good review on their website).
