On my to do again list

Great Kit

The Wherry is the only brew kit that I have continuously bought since starting to home brew. The Wherry can go toe to toe with any commercially brewed beer out there. What a brew

I have gone through a dozen or so kits, every time a winner. I have started to add a couple of ounces of sugar at the start and end up with a 6% brew. I think this kit takes some beating will certainly continue with itAnonymous (28 Oct 2016, 13:58)

Marvellous

I have been brewing kits for about a year and a half now and thought I would give this a try. One of the simplest - no added hops, so I had my doubts. Took about a week longer than I expected to become stable and then I barreled it. 2 weeks later it tastes great and is pretty clear - not totally, but clear enough. No need to be too picky on that. A lovely simple bitter style beer and not too bitter. I shall definitely brew this again.Anonymous (28 Oct 2016, 13:57)

Worth moving up a notch?

I used to buy from the On The House (£43) range and was always very happy with them and made dozens of 30 bottle kits up. Until, that is, there was an offer on WineXpert kits at the same price rather than the normal £53. So I had nothing to lose in trying the more expensive kit. I found it was definitely worth the extra tenner (more grape juice giving more depth of flavour). So I now stick with WineXpert even at the higher price. I bought two wine kits and one did not have all the necessary parts, only the grape concentrate. I needed to get this started before we went on holiday, Sam chased it up immediately with the suppliers and I received the missing bits in time to start it before we went away. Good kits at a good price. Very fast delivery by APC and tracking which was spot on (I've written a good review on their website).
